By accessing or using our Services, placing an order, or shipping equipment to us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Services

SHAFTEK provides golf club shaft augmentation, modification, customization, and related services. All services are performed based on customer-provided instructions and equipment.

Because our services involve custom, irreversible modifications, all work is considered custom work.

2. Customer-Provided Equipment

By shipping golf clubs or other equipment to SHAFTEK, you represent and agree that:

• You are the lawful owner of the equipment or authorized to submit it for service
   
• The equipment is in condition suitable for the requested service
   
• You understand that modification involves inherent risks
   

Risk of Damage

While we take reasonable care, all services are performed at the customer’s risk. SHAFTEKf is not responsible for pre-existing damage, structural weaknesses, or failures that occur due to the condition of the equipment.

3. Shipping & Handling

Incoming Shipping

Customers are responsible for:

• Proper packaging
   
• Insurance on inbound shipments
   
• Shipping costs to SHAFTEK
   

SHAFTEK is not responsible for loss or damage during inbound shipping.

Return Shipping

We will ship completed equipment to the address provided by the customer. Risk of loss passes to the customer once the package is delivered to the carrier.

4. Turnaround Times

Turnaround times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to workload, supply issues, or unforeseen circumstances. SHAFTEK is not liable for delays.

5. Payments

• Full payment may be required before work begins
   
• Prices are subject to change without notice
   
• All sales are final once work has started
   

Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. SHAFTEK does not store full payment card information.

6. No Returns or Refunds

Because our services involve custom modification, all sales are final.

No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be issued once work has begun, except where required by law.

7. Performance Disclaimer

SHAFTEK does not guarantee performance outcomes, including but not limited to distance, accuracy, swing improvement, or scoring results. Golf performance depends on many variables beyond equipment modification.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• SHAFTEK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
   
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service at issue
   

This includes, without limitation, loss of use, loss of enjoyment, or loss of performance.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SHAFTEK, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Services
   
• Your equipment or instructions
   
• Any breach of these Terms
   

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, designs, and trademarks, is the property of SHAFTEK or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

11. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Website for unlawful purposes
   
• Attempt to interfere with Website functionality or security
   
• Submit false or misleading information
   

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
